Compatibility Specification

Cable capacity: round cables up to 5 mm OD.
Use a square clip for flat or ribbon cable.

Structural Characteristics

Virgin-grade HDPE gives the clip enough flexibility for hammer-in installation while reducing cracking and brittleness. Keep the saddle off sharp edges and do not use a round channel to compress flat data or ribbon cable.

Applicable Scenarios

Surveillance leads, doorbell wire, access-control cable and thin alarm-sensor lines. Use the stated capacity of Plastic Round Cable Clips as a maximum and move to the next size if the cable must be forced into the channel. Do not hammer directly on the plastic saddle once the nail is seated, as this can deform the channel.

Installation Instructions

Q1: How should installers respond if steel nails bend when driven into hard cement walls?

A1: You can drive nails directly into standard brick or cement walls. However, for high-density concrete walls, first drill a shallow pilot hole with a small bit before inserting the cable clip to prevent the steel nail from bending.

Q2: How can I prevent drywall from cracking when driving in nails?

A2: Drywall is relatively brittle; use gentle, slow force when driving in nails rather than striking hard. It works for securing lightweight, thin-gauge wiring but not for heavy-duty cables or heavy loads.
