Compatibility Specification

The square channel accommodates flat cable up to 10 mm across, including flat network cables, flat TV cables, twin parallel thin wires, etc.

Structural Characteristics

The square channel supports flat network, television and parallel cable without forcing it into a round profile. The nail should enter straight and finish flush with the clip body without cutting, flattening or twisting the cable.

Applicable Scenarios

Flat network cable, TV cable and parallel wire indoors; use a matching outdoor-grade square clip for exposed runs. Use Plastic Square Cable Clips only where the channel supports the jacket without pinching it and the nail can seat securely in the substrate. Store loose clips so their nails do not scratch finished surfaces or become bent before installation.

Installation Instructions

Q1: Can 10 mm square cable clips be used outdoors for extended periods?

A1: The standard white version is intended for indoor use. Outdoors, select a black UV-resistant square clip in the size that matches the cable profile.

Q2: How do you choose between square and round cable clips?

A2: Use square cable clips for flat network cables and flat TV cables to prevent the wires from being crushed; use standard round cable clips for round sheathed lighting cables and cylindrical electrical wires.
