Key Features

Withstands high and low-temperature cycling; resists creep and relaxation under intense summer heat, and does not crack when bent in freezing winter temperatures. Check local flame, smoke and certification requirements separately when the tie becomes part of regulated electrical equipment.

Typical Applications

Pole-mounted cameras, exposed network cable, power lines and outdoor conduit. Use the dimensions and tensile class of Outdoor installation zip tie as selection limits, then verify the material grade for the surrounding environment.

Choosing and Using

Q1: Will the carbon black additives in black outdoor cable ties contaminate photovoltaic panels or cables?

A1: The carbon black is compounded into the material and should not shed during normal outdoor installation. For sealed battery or precision-instrument interiors, use the grade specified by the equipment manufacturer.

Q2: Will cable ties loosen due to heat when exposed to intense summer sun outdoors?

A2: The outdoor version incorporates a creep-resistance modifier and features double-row anti-slip teeth, ensuring it does not loosen or detach due to heat at ambient temperatures up to 110°C. For long-term high-temperature conditions exceeding 110°C, high-temperature-resistant EV-modified cable ties should be used.
