Humidity
Humidity requirements are also stringent; the relative humidity for storing plastic products should generally be maintained at around 50%. Excessive humidity can cause the plastic to soften or develop mold, whereas low humidity can make it brittle. Consequently, controlling humidity is necessary to maintain product quality.
Sunlight
Exposure to sunlight is a critical factor; prolonged exposure can cause discoloration and brittleness. Therefore, direct sunlight must be avoided, and the products should ideally be stored in a shaded area.
Air Circulation
Adequate air circulation is required during storage. It is important to ensure good airflow and avoid enclosed, damp environments to prevent the plastic products from absorbing moisture or becoming deformed.
Stacking Method
Proper stacking methods should be observed; vertical or horizontal (flat) stacking is recommended. Vertical stacking minimizes the risk of compression damage, while horizontal stacking helps prevent deformation.
