Natural nylon cable ties are manufactured using PA66 (polyamide 66)-a thermoplastic engineering plastic known for its high strength, wear resistance, and impact resistance. The amide bonds within its molecular structure provide excellent chemical resistance, protecting the material against common automotive fluids such as gasoline, engine oil, and detergents. The surface undergoes special treatment to enhance UV resistance, thereby minimizing the risk of degradation during prolonged outdoor use.

These ties feature a serrated strap design that utilizes a one-way locking mechanism to ensure a secure hold that does not easily loosen. Additionally, the oval-shaped locking aperture distributes stress during fastening, preventing damage to the cables or conduits being secured.

The ties meet the UL94 V2 flammability rating; in vertical burn tests, they are self-extinguishing within 30 seconds, and burning droplets do not ignite the filter paper placed beneath. They offer a temperature tolerance range of -40°C to 85°C, maintaining stable material performance in environments ranging from the freezing cold of northern winters to the high-heat conditions of an engine compartment.
